In July, 2001, Laker Airways (founded by the late Sir Freddie Laker) in-flight magazine, "Air Waves",  featured an article on the art of Grand Bahama, Claudette Dean was among the featured artists and her painting "Moondance" was chosen for the front cover of the publication.
